Mother's Day at Just Tickled Pink

Today, for Mother's Day, I surprised my mum with hi tea at Just Tickled Pink. It's a gorgeous little café located on Unley Road in Hyde Park. On arrival we were treated to a complimentary mocktail, followed by sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, cupcakes, and lots and lots of tea!

The café itself is very feminine and pretty (as you can see from the photos above). The staff are lovely and the food and drinks were perfect. It was a great experience and mum loved it! I look forward to going back again in the near future.

I hope you had a Happy Mother's Day and all treated your mums to a day they truly deserve. Have a great week! Jess xx

Leopard and Leather

It has been a long time between posts but I have finally got around to it! Over the last couple of months I have been busy working full-time (I usually work part-time). I will be back to part-time hours in about two weeks so I hope to post more frequently then.

The above outfit is a mix of old and new pieces, but mostly old. The faux leather jacket I bought overseas in Scotland because I didn't have a warm enough jacket so I ventured into the TopShop there and came across this gem. I love it, and I'm so glad I chose a classic piece at the time and not something that would date quickly. The coated jeans became my second skin last winter and I will no doubt wear them to death again this winter along with my Tony Bianco boots. I love a good white t-shirt so when I saw this leopard print t-shirt (two days ago) I had to have it.

What do you think of the outfit? Details below.

Emerald Green and Leopard Print

So I have finally got around to replacing my lost camera cord which means I can now post my own outfits. I took these photos about two weeks ago just after I recovered from having my wisdom teeth out. I'd been stuck inside for over a week wearing nothing but pyjamas all day so I decided to get a bit dressed up before venturing out for the first time.
I recently bought these leopard print flats and even though it's not quite cool enough to wear them I just couldn't wait. I love the ankle strap detail paired with black shorts and emerald green tee. Expect to see a lot more of them throughout autumn/winter.
I hope you enjoy my first outfit post! Outfit details below.
